Vice President, Industrial Design
Richard Gresens has been creating new ideas for over thirty years. His diverse design career has involved working across the design disciplines of product, transportation and exhibit at large and small companies. His work includes numerous concept and production designs that have been introduced around the globe.
Prior to joining Newell, Gresens was Senior Director for the Whirlpool Corporation where he was responsible for leading their global laundry design studios and establishing an international design language. He was also Chief Designer at the Ford Motor Company in charge of several vehicle programs including the Ford Flex and Explorer. Earlier in his career, Gresens led and developed products and vehicles for various companies like AGCO, Rinspeed, Nu-Step, GPJ Exhibits and Volkswagen AG.
Richard graduated from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan with a BFA in Industrial Design.
